The World Cup reminds us, every four years, that certain things transcend borders. Sport is one. Music is another.
This week we’d like to invite you to listen to Joni Mitchell’s 1971 album, Blue (1971). Our BA Music students listen to this album as part of a unit that explores Women American popular musicians in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Canada as well as being one of one of this summer's host nations for The World Cup is Mitchell’s birthplace.
What would you like to listen to next?
