A plaque will be installed at the OU campus to celebrate Beagle 2 - the 1st British & European spacecraft to land on another planet.
The Beagle 2 project was spearheaded by the late Prof Colin Pilinger who worked at the OU for many years. 🚀

Beagle 2 reached the surface in 2003, but it was not known until 2015, a professor says.
