English Learners Explore Life in Space 🚀🌍
This week, our English learners explored the fascinating theme of space while developing their reading, writing, and communication skills.
Learners discovered what life is like on the International Space Station, including how astronauts exercise, recycle water, and spend their days in space. They also practised using conjunctions, correcting punctuation, identifying facts and opinions, and writing responses to space-themed scenarios. ✍️
One learner thoughtfully answered the question, "Would you live on Mars for a year?", explaining their reasons and considering different viewpoints.
Activities were carefully adapted to enable Entry Level and Level 1 learners to work at their own pace, build confidence, and apply their English skills in a fun and engaging context.
A fantastic lesson that showed how clear communication is important in everyday life, work, and even in outer space! 🌟
