Another year comes to a close, and there is so much to celebrate!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our learners, parents, and carers for the incredible support you have given throughout the year. Your encouragement and involvement have helped make so many achievements possible. 💙

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another year of learning, growth, and success.

Maths in Action: Budgeting Game 💷📊

As part of their Maths lessons, our learners have been taking part in a budgeting game designed to develop financial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Working through realistic scenarios, learners were challenged to manage a budget, make spending decisions, and balance essential costs with personal wants. 💡

The activity encouraged thoughtful discussions about financial responsibility, saving money, and planning for unexpected expenses.

Learners thoroughly enjoyed the interactive nature of the game while gaining valuable real-world skills that will support them in their future studies and everyday lives. 🌟👏

Enterprise Kitchen 🍽️👨‍🍳

Our learners have been busy in the Enterprise Kitchen this week, preparing a variety of delicious food ready to be served.

The menu included tuna and mayonnaise sandwiches, popcorn chicken and fries with a choice of dips, and hot dogs topped with freshly fried onions. 🌭🍟🥪

Learners also demonstrated excellent attention to detail by correctly labelling the sandwiches with food allergen information. One learner even stepped out of their comfort zone and volunteered to fry the onions after preparing them—a fantastic example of confidence and initiative! 👏

The Enterprise Kitchen provides valuable opportunities for learners to develop practical skills, build confidence, improve teamwork, and gain experience using equipment and appliances in a real working kitchen environment.

A brilliant week of learning and achievement! 🌟

English Learners Explore Life in Space 🚀🌍

This week, our English learners explored the fascinating theme of space while developing their reading, writing, and communication skills.

Learners discovered what life is like on the International Space Station, including how astronauts exercise, recycle water, and spend their days in space. They also practised using conjunctions, correcting punctuation, identifying facts and opinions, and writing responses to space-themed scenarios. ✍️

One learner thoughtfully answered the question, "Would you live on Mars for a year?", explaining their reasons and considering different viewpoints.

Activities were carefully adapted to enable Entry Level and Level 1 learners to work at their own pace, build confidence, and apply their English skills in a fun and engaging context.

A fantastic lesson that showed how clear communication is important in everyday life, work, and even in outer space! 🌟

Learners Show Initiative in the Enterprise Café 🍈🥪

Last Tuesday, our learners prepared fresh melon pots and cheese and pickle sandwiches for lunchtime service.

They worked confidently as a team and showed great initiative by boiling and freezing unused carrots to reduce food waste. ♻️

A fantastic example of teamwork, practical skills, and responsibility in action! 🌟
