We recently welcomed Year 10 students from across the North East to our Economics of Music event, delivered in partnership with the Bank of England, Discover Economics and Newcastle University's Music Department. 🎶🌟

Students explored links between economics and the music industry through interactive workshops and live performances, gaining insight into topics including music streaming, consumer behaviour and local music ecosystems.

On this World Entrepreneurs’ Day, we are celebrating alumni who are turning ideas into impact.🌍

Business School alumni James Nicholson (Accounting & Finance, 2019) and fellow alumni Jacob Foy (Computer Science, 2015) have launched Delta Technology Services, a Microsoft-focused consultancy specialising in AI, cloud, automation and digital transformation.

Their story highlights the power of entrepreneurial ambition, collaboration and a commitment to reinvesting in the region that helped shape their careers. 🤍🖤

What a fantastic story and special milestone for the family.
Congratulations Paris on a fantastic achievement! 👏✨

Meet mum and daughter alumni duo Chantelle and Paris 👋

Chantelle studied accounting and finance on campus from 2009 - 2013 while a single parent with a young family. Inspired by her mum's achievements, daughter Paris followed in Chantelle's footsteps to study at Newcastle University - graduating earlier this month with a Master's in Pharmacy!

💬 Paris told us:

"I continue to be inspired by my mum and I wanted to make her proud by going to the same university. She has always been a creative spirit and taught me to sew clothes - which has been a passion of mine alongside my studies."
