Nominations for the By-elections and internal elections will be opening THIS MONDAY. All information about the roles we are looking for and how to apply is above. You need to be a full paid member to apply and will need a short manifesto (max 200 words).

We are looking for:

2x social secretaries
1x Vice-President
1x Charities Officer
1x Activities Officer

If you are applying for social sec, YOU MUST apply BOTH through NUSU and internally through the Microsoft Forms! You can use the same manifesto and copy it over, this is the only way we can elect two social secs which we need as a society xx

If you want to apply for any role, we definitely encourage it, it ensures we can run as a society next year and looks great on any CV or placement applications.

Our final social of the year is finally here… and we’re going out with a twist 🐔✨We’re so excited to bring Ou est le poulet. Expect an evening of running around, solving clues, and full-on chase energy as we split into Prisoners and Police 👮‍♂️🔍

We’ll be kicking things off at 8pm SHARP at Milecastle, where teams will be sorted before the game begins. From there, it’s all to play for — complete challenges, earn clues and track us down 👀 The faster you move, the closer you get to finding us… and unlocking the prize 🍻

And once the game wraps up, we’ll all be heading out together to celebrate properly (Tropiloco pending… 👀). Use code BIO on the fixr £7 tickets to reduce them down to £3!

We genuinely can’t wait to see everyone there — it’s been such a great year, and this is the perfect way to end it. Bring your friends, bring your energy, and bring a fiver… you’re going to need it.

It is with heavy hearts that we have to cancel the annual summer ball due to lack of ticket sales. We love you all and this has been a great year for Bioscience Society, and we would have loved to celebrate the end of it with you all. All refunds will occur within the next few weeks through nusu, and your favourite social secs are in the works for a social that same day to make sure we can finish before exams with a bang!
