PARTICIPANTS WANTED!

The Bloomery Iron Smelting Project is an interdisciplinary, experimental archaeology project open to all HASS discipline subjects. The project will involve working on the reconstruction of an early Medieval bloomery smelting furnace and take part in recreating artefacts using this. If you're interested in this please attend the launch event on Friday at 2pm in the Devonshire Building (room G21/22). This is a very rare opportunity for students and one which will be very exciting so I would highly recommend going to the talk if you are interested.
If you can't attend the talk I would recommend getting in touch with Prof. Andrea Dolfini who is leading the project as he is keen to get lots of help!
