We cater for all levels of experience - our b

eginner classes offer a fun & friendly introduction to latin and ballroom dancing, while our novice & above classes are perfect for those with prior experience! Membership is £60 for the year - £30 for the first term and £30 to continue after Christmas. We offer a weekly class as well as regular socials! Reduced price private lessons are available for intermediate/advanced level members. We would love to have you join our team!

This week we will be structuring the classes a little differently!! It will be mixed ability and as follows - 6:30 to 7:30 we will be dancing the Waltz and then from 7:30- 8:30 we will be dancing the Rumba! We can’t wait to see you there!! 🥰

I am a third year student from China, majoring in architecture and urban planning. I was in charge of treasure in the society last year, so this year I’m still in charge of treasure. Hi, my name is Emily and I would love to be one of your committee members next year. I have really enjoyed Latin & ballroom society this year, finding it a welcome break from university work, and would be privileged to help the society continue to thrive in the future. If I was on committee I would endeavour to try and live up to this years committee with our excellent weekly lessons and hopefully a wonderful dance show. Hi I’m Vicky and I would love to be president of Latin and Ballroom society. I am a first year education student going into second year and am fairly new to latin and ballroom dancing despite dancing on stage in pantomimes and other shows since I was young. The main reason I want to be president is because I have seen what a great job this years committee has done with organising classes, socials and showcases and I have some great ideas about how to keep this going next year!

Our final class of the year will be tomorrow (29th)! We’ve loved being your committee and can’t wait to see you all tomorrow - everyone welcome! The class will run 6pm until 8pm in the Barbara Strang teaching centre as usual. We will also be posting about our AGM and final social soon so keep a look out for that🥳
