The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn recently held a amazing University Insight event.
It was such a pleasure to be able to have this opportunity to speak with several barristers from Lincoln’s Inn, and particularly Lord Briggs who was so informative and friendly! This event was an eye-opener in showcasing the dedication and hard work it takes to become a successful legal practitioner, and just how unique everyone’s route to success is. Finally, dinner and drinks with other future barristers from a number of universities was an amazing experience!
Lincoln’s Inn are holding another “Innsight Day” on the 20th of March so take the opportunity to sign up and hear from a range of barristers about scholarships and their experience.

Inns of Court scholarship applications – panel event
Wednesday, 4 October 2023, 1:30pm online
Are you a final year student hoping to secure a scholarship from one of the Inns of Court? Before submitting your scholarship application, you should attend BPP’s Inns of Court scholarship panel event, where you can hear all about the scholarship application process from representatives from the Inns, current Bar students who were successful in securing scholarships last year, and qualified barristers. Our panel will talk through what the Inns look for in scholarship applicants, and will be happy to answer any questions that you have.

If you are starting your Bar Course in September 2024 (like one of BPP’s Barrister Training Courses), then the deadline to apply to an Inn of Court for a scholarship is Friday 3 November 2023. So, this session is well timed to provide you with invaluable advice on how to make a stand-out application to one of the Inns.

This session will be followed with Part 2 in February 2024, which will help you to prepare for an Inns of Court scholarship interview.
