⭐️What a year it has been ⭐️

2023/2024 you will always be remembered and as we transition over to our new committee to take over this amazing society and create even more new and great experiences. I want to take the time to thank the committee of 2023/2024.

All the hard work and effort that you guys have put into this year to make it one of the best years will never be forgotten, you all are truly incredible people to work with and I am so proud to have had you on this journey. Going from a smaller society to having over 100 members, it was a big challenge and learning curve for all of us but we persevered and while it may have been stressful at times, your hardworking and dedication towards the shows, the members and most importantly to the society is something I am so incredibly proud of.

This year we have won so many amazing awards:
- Society of the Year
- Performance Society of the Year
- President of the Year
- Secretary of the Year
- Winner of the Soloist Category of the IUMTF Competition

These accomplishments are an amazing achievement and you all should be so proud⭐️

For all members, old and new (whether you are returning or not) thank you for trusting MTS and allowing us to be apart of your university journey. We hope you look back and cherish those moments and hours spent in stage 2, Lipman from weekend rehearsals to socials 💕

Finally, for the 2024/2025 committee, enjoy and cherish the times you will spend together as you have this unique opportunity to create massive changes into people’s lives. Enjoy the next year, it will be an experience of a lifetime and I for one cannot wait to see all the amazing things that you will all do.

These three roles are double cast - and they all have such unique and wonderful takes on the characters… so come and see both casts to see how awesome they are!

We are thrilled to announce our fundraiser show, “Thank You For The Music”!

Being performed next weekend (9th and 10th of March), this showcase will feature a wide selection of musical theatre songs from your favourite shows, to some hidden gems you may never have heard of before!

Half of our proceeds from both ticket sales and the raffle will be split between two charities: Billy’s Room and Motor Neurone Disease Association. To find out more about these, visit the “Charities” section on our website!!

We completed our very first 24 Hour Musical this weekend!

Thank you to everyone that came along! We had a blast creating an iconic movie musical in only 24 hours and have made some great donations to our two charities for this year!

As you can see now, our show was indeed Mamma Mia, did you guess it right when we first revealed it? It was there all along on the first poster - “for one night, and one night only!”
