Next week we'll be welcoming over 600 local school pupils from Year 10 and Year 11 to for our 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 Careers Fair 🥳

It will be an interactive careers event where prospective students can find out about education, training and career opportunities 📈

Yesterday one our tutors was honoured to speak at a Cancer Champion Celebration event in Shrewsbury. It was great to hear about the developments for lung cancer screening, and to hear the work that is happening within Powys to support residents living with cancer and their families.

As a department we have lots of plans for September onwards, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

We have followed Rob Burrow’s life as part of the course, learning about MND and the impact it can have, not only on the individual but their families and friends. What an inspirational man 🌟

Sorry for the silence, it’s been a very busy time for our learners who are busy completing assessments at the moment.

However….look at just one of the deliveries we have received this week 🙌🏼👏🏼 who can guess what it is?! Keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the order, it’s like Christmas 🎄🎁

Today we welcomed Miranda and Kerry from Lingen Davies who trained our Level 3 learners and staff to become Cancer Champions. We are looking forward to raising awareness of the disease through events and supporting others through having conversations.
