Last week our campus came alive for Cultural Dress Week organised by the Global Ethnic Majority Network.
Staff and students came together, wearing traditional dress and celebrating their heritage from countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Portugal, South Africa, England, and Kenya to name a few. Each one told a story of heritage, pride, and community.

MSc Business Analytics graduate, Edna Ann Quarshie, undertook an internship at as part of her degree. She provided senior executives at the club some ideas on how they could increase revenue and ticket sales and it was very well received ⚽️🎟️

Hà is a mature student studying an MA in Social Work. She loves music, cycling, mindfulness and has over ten years experience working in the guest services industry.

Twins, Victoria Panyin Baiden and Veronica Kakra Baiden, originally from Ghana, both graduated together this May. Their father travelled all the way from their home country to be there for this proud moment 🇬🇭

Vernonia graduated in MSc Business Analytics and Victoria in MSc Digital Marketing. They both currently work part-time with TLC Sport, which has really helped them gain valuable UK work experience.

Victoria said “Being able to have our dad watch us walk across the stage at graduation felt like such a full-circle moment for our family. I honestly couldn’t imagine graduating without my twin sister by my side — we’ve been each other’s biggest support throughout this journey.” ♥
