Welcome Adventurers,

From today until tomorrow 5pm, you have an amazing opportunity to became part of Adventure Society committee for the following academic year 2016/2017.
It is important for the continuity of our society next year to fill the core positions of President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Therefore, if you are interested in creating your legacy as Society Executive do not hesitate and nominate yourself.
For those not interested in being part of the Committee you can always vote for our candidates on the SU website.
Here is the guidance:
Step 1 – Please visit the SU website: http://www.northamptonunion.com/
Step 2 – Go to VOICE > ELECTIONS 2016 > NOMINATE & VOTE OR visit: http://www.northamptonunion.com/user_groups/my_nominations
Step 3 – Select the position you would like to nominate yourself for, e.g. 'Adventure Society President'
Step 4 - Click 'submit' to enter your nomination
Remember the deadline for all of your nominations and votes is 5th March 2016

Welcome Adventurers!

A psychology student is conducting a dissertation looking at the mental well-being of the students at the university of Northampton and their opinions of this university's counselling services. This is due to a recent report stating the there has been an increase in stressed students seeking help at university and there are concerns as to whether universities are providing enough support. If you would please take the time to complete the 5-10 minute questionnaire it would help her greatly with collecting participants from the whole university.

Hi all you adventures!

There will be a social this Friday at on park campus room PY101 at 7pm. There will be pizza and drinks provided.......can't beat free food and drinks! We will look forward to seeing you all on the night.

Hi all you adventurers! We have a bike ride planned for next Wednesday from 9:30am until approx 2pm. We will be meeting George Pollard from Sustrance (ride leader & organiser) at the SU on Park Campus so it's important that we are all on time.

Important info:

1) Please note that spaces are limited so comment below if you are interested as it will be first come first serve.

2) please be sure you are able to attend to avoid others missing out.

3) Bikes "CAN" be provided but will have to be arranged with George so we will need to know ASAP.

4) Tom and Wayne will both be in attendance so that's two spots gone already so fastest finger first lol

The Adventure Society is a very good example of exploring and using the combined pursuits of science, technology, engineering and maths to pursue incredible adventures whether in the air, on land, or in the sky! Ever thought of championing these fascinating subjects amongst young fertile minds thirsting for a clearer understanding? ....yes, and exciting them about all your uni adventures too...lol Please check this link out for more info (https://mypad.northampton.ac.uk/stem/) and/or register your interest tomorrow morning at Avenue campus with STEM volunteers. There is a meeting in the evening for all interested. Oh, and you don't need a N.E.R.D or Noddy badge qualification to get involved.....just your willingness and an inquisitive mind!!!!
