Happy (delayed) New Years! Welcome 2022!! πŸ₯³πŸ₯‚

Here are some of our new years resolutions:
🌟 Read more books (12 books, 1 per month is a good goal to start with!)
🌟 Eating healthy and exercising more (The Gym Northampton is offering 50% off your first month and no joining fee with the checkout code: FEELGOOD)
🌟Dry January/ Veganuary (cutting out alcohol or meat for the whole month of January)
🌟Be more productive (as uni students this is an important one for us! With deadline coming up and stress levels rising we need to keep on top of everything and stay productive. Check out our pinned post for some tips on stress relief to help you stay productive!)
🌟Enjoy the little things more (this is also an important one we think, everyone can get so tied down with work life, uni work, home life and social occasions that we don't always have time to enjoy the little things and appreciate them as much! Don't forget to step back and appreciate life's little things more in 2022!

Self-Care Time!
Today we're talking about self-care. Having me time and a self-care routine is essential to keep your calm and look after yourself!

Here are some tips on what you can do to look after yourself and make sure you have well deserved me time:
Power off your phone. Even if it's just for a short amount of time. Power off your phone and take time away from everything and have some quiet me time.
Yoga/meditation. Something you could do while your phone is powered off is some yoga or a meditation session. Find a yoga routine or meditation session that you can do and take time to zone out of reality and zone into your me time.
Running/walking. Going for a walk or a run can fill you with energy and getting some fresh air into your lungs can make you feel energized and inspired.
Music. Listening to some calming music can out your mind to rest and help you to have a calm break.
Having a bath. Baths can be very relaxing. Try having a bath and surrounding yourself with candles and calming music.
Decoration. Surrounding yourself with decorations you enjoy and that can create a calming energy can boost your mood and help you to feel calm and relaxed within that environment.
