Our Level 3 Year 1 and 2 Animal Management students are coming to the end of their once-in-a-lifetime trip to South Africa, where they have left the Nambiti Big 5 Conservation Research Reserve behind. ๐
On their last full day at Nambiti, the group were lucky enough to see the endangered black rhino on a rhino survey, and while predator monitoring they spotted a cheetah with her cubs...we are all very jealous back home! ๐ฆ
They then made their way to Zingela Wildlife Reserve, helping to support the Zingela Conservation Research Progrogramme. The reserve covers a whopping 12,500 acres of predator free, pristine African bushveld. Their time at Zingela has involved everything from hiking and paddling on the river, to giraffe surveying and going out into the local community to practice their animal management skills.
Our students have had such a fantastic time in South Africa, learning invaluable skills and creating memories to last a lifetime! ๐ฅฐ
