A celebratory bouquet from all of us here in LDC to everyone who has received today! 💐 We’re especially excited for everyone who will be joining us here at the University of East Anglia (UEA), and we can’t wait to welcome you in September to our School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing — the place 📚 🥰 Do tag us on social media if you’re posting some celebratory pictures today, so we can say a proper hello!

We know, however, that it’s been a tough couple of years for many people and that things don’t always turn out the way you’d imagined. If that’s the case — or you know someone whose day hasn’t quite gone to plan — don’t panic! We still have some places available on some degrees with English, Drama and Creative Writing through . Give our friendly UEA team a call on 0300 300 7994 ☎️ (lines open until 8pm today!).

Above all we hope you’re all incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved — and that all of the teachers, parents, carers and others who have been supporting students over the past couple of years are hugely proud too!

If you’re still around in Norwich, we hope you’ve been enjoying some of the lovely Spring sunshine over the past few days! 💛 Here’s hoping it stays around during the rest of the vacation 🌞

Remember that between Thursday 14 April and Tuesday 19 April (inclusive) many University of East Anglia (UEA) services will be closed or running at reduced hours for the Easter break, with most re-opening again on Wednesday 20 April 🗓 Check https://my.uea.ac.uk/news/-/article/easter-opening-hours-1 for details of relevant opening hours and support services which are open throughout this period.

We’re also going to be taking a little break on the LDC social media over the next couple of weeks, but we’ll be back when the teaching semester re-starts on Monday 25 April! See you then, and we hope you all stay safe and well in the meantime. Wishing a wonderful Easter weekend to all of you who celebrate it, and a relaxing and refreshing remainder of the vacation to everyone! 🐣 ☺️
