Are you the parent of a deaf child aged 7-11 years who watches subtitled TV/films?
If so, they might like to take part in a UEA study on subtitles!
Children aged 7-11 years with severe to profound deafness are eligible to participate - including children who have cochlear implants or hearing aids, or whether their first language is English or BSL. Participation will help advance research on subtitles for deaf children.
Your child will receive a £60 Amazon voucher to thank them for their time. The session lasts around two hours. BSL interpreter available. Please see the poster below for more details and our BSL info video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aRExovTMG4
With thanks to Holly Lane RSLI RSLT for creating the BSL info video.
