SUSTAINABILITY WEEK 2026! 🌿

From 22nd April to 2nd May, the UEA campus became a community hub for sustainability! ✨

The entirely student-run festival was attributed to our Environment Officer, Jaz Brook, whose hard work and dedication made this week possible. From a music festival to sustainable market, the UEA Square has been blessed by fantastic weather, live music, incredible plant-based food stalls, and a whole lot of student support. 💚

Jaz says:

“UEA Sustainability Week was an incredible celebration of all the work students, staff, and the local community have done to take action for people and the planet. Thank you to our partners UEA Sustainability Team, Triple Bottom Line Accounting, the outstanding companies, departments, organisations, and individuals that ran and participated in events, and all of the wonderful students who dedicated time to volunteering throughout the week. I had an amazing time planning and running the events, and can’t wait to explore what we can do next year!” 🌟

Nadine, a second year UEA Biomed student, tells us about her brand new business: She’s On Standby 💅✨

Nadine won funding through the Enterprise Centre to start her vending machine venture in the Hive and to trial and document SOS - your brand new best friend 🌟

Located in our very own SU space until the end of semester, SOS has everything you need from lipgloss, sanitary products, deodorant, wipes, and more. We’re super excited to see how Nadine’s business progresses! 🫧
