BioSoc is a society for everyone in BIO at UEA!

BioSoc is UEA’s Biological Society for everyone in BIO, taking BIO modules or just interested in the Biological Sciences! We represent all students from all fields of biological science and aim to organise a range of social events and enrich your time at UEA. Our popular social events include the BIO Pub Quiz, famous Lab Coat pub crawl, UV Quasar night and the formal BIO Winter Ball. Bio Soc also

organises and takes part in various sporting events and we sell our BIO hoodies and jumpers annually. Being part of BioSoc is a great way of meeting new people on your course and making the most of your university experience. If you have any ideas or would like to see Bio Soc organise a particular event, let us know and we'll see what we can do! MODEL ORGANISM BAR CRAWL!

Hi guys! We’re back with on Friday 17th March 18:30 for our second bar crawl of the year!
Dress up as your favourite model organism!

Tickets will be available today on the SU website at 17:00! (Link in bio)

Members : Free
Non-members : £3
•
Meet in the square at 6:30pm or join us in Bar SU at 6:45pm!

We’ll be heading into town around 8pm!

JIC are hosting a showcase event with lots of different speakers and an opportunity to network! There’s also a chance to learn more about MSc options and summer internships at JIC and then an optional tour around some of the labs!

If you’d like to come along, there’s a link to free tickets in bio - we’ll be meeting outside NewSci at around 1:30pm and then heading off to the research park at 1:45pm

JIC Showcase Event (8th March | 2pm-5pm) - JIC are hosting an event with talks from a variety of labs across JIC as well as an opportunity to network with other scientists and find out more about MSc programmes and summer internships! (We’ll be meeting outside NewSci at 1:30pm and walking to JIC at 1:45pm) 📊📒📣📢
