We’re pleased to share a highly positive outcome from our first Ofsted inspection under the new framework. 🎉

✅ Building on two ‘Good’ ratings under the old framework, our school-based teacher training meets or exceeds the ‘Expected’ standard in all areas.

✅ In addition, we were judged to be of a ‘Strong’ standard for Inclusion (primary + secondary) and for Professional Behaviours, Personal Development and Wellbeing (primary).

The inspectors praised the support that NTTC staff and school mentors give to our trainees and apprentices, with comments such as:

💬 "Trainees benefit from highly approachable staff who know them well… There is a family feel at the provider"

💬 "Trainees flourish at Norfolk Teacher Training Centre"

💬 "Trainees are well supported to achieve qualified teacher status and then go on to secure employment"

Thank you to our amazing primary and secondary partner schools in Norfolk and Suffolk for the huge part you play in supporting our trainees, and to the incredibly dedicated NTTC team for all the work you do to help our trainees and apprentices on their journeys into teaching.

Yesterday, staff gathered together to celebrate the incredible achievements of our colleagues from across our campuses. 🏆

We held our annual Staff Awards, fun day, and picnic at Easton College - where we enjoyed everything from giant Jenga to fruit scones! Here are just a few of the moments captured from the day. 📸

A huge well done to our winners, who have each gone above and beyond to support students and staff across the organisation. A truly well deserved win! 👏

Alex, Headteacher at Costessey Primary School, kindly shared how the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) route allowed him to invest in the progression of his staff.
