As a member of the National Skills Academy for Retail, Nottingham’s FutureStore forms part of a UK-wide network of walk-in retail skills shops, and commits to providing a core offer and consistent training. The National Skills Academy for Retail has been endorsed by some of the country’s largest and highest profile retailers. Based in Nottingham’s Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, FutureStore provides free retail career information and advice. We also offer hands-on training, placement opportunities and Award/Certificate/Diploma in Retail Skills qualifications, plus ongoing support and mentoring

Unemployed and looking to kick-start your retail career? Our FREE BTEC Level 1 Award in Retail Knowledge starts on 28/08! The course runs three days a week for four weeks at FutureStore. To be eligible for the course you must be:

- 19+, unemployed and in receipt of benefits
- Able to successfully complete an initial assessment in Maths and English
- Willing to learn and be committed to work
- Have an ability to communicate with team and customers.

You will also be provided with the opportunity to get help with job searches, CV writing, help with application forms and guidance on interview techniques.

■When you are successful you will be offered the opportunity to become a Deputy Manager and be well on your way to joining our Store Management Team with a starting salary of £25,150.
