Bank Holiday Opening ๐ŸŸ๏ธ๐Ÿ•œ | Our University of Nottingham sports centres will be opening with altered hours this upcoming Monday (31st), with Jubilee Sports Centre closing for the bank holiday.

โ–ช David Ross Sports Village will be open from 8.15am to 4pm, however our swimming pool complex and Sports Injury Clinic will both be closed.
โ–ช Jubilee Sports Centre will be closed.
โ–ช Sutton Bonington Sports Centre will be open from 11. 45am to 7.30pm.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting World champions, the England Womenโ€™s Rugby Union squad for their preseason training camp here at University of Nottingham.

The Red Roses based their preparations at our flagship venue, David Ross Sports Village, making the most of our world-class sports, rehab and conditioning facilities!

TASS Award ๐Ÿ† | Congratulations to David Knapton, our Athlete Support and Recruitment Officer, on recently winning his second Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) Award in three years! ๐Ÿ‘

David won the Personal Development Practioner of the Year award for 2026, recognising his exceptional work in leading the athlete support and lifestyle programme here at the University of Nottingham.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Reflecting on the award, David said "I am really proud to win Practioner of the Year. In my role I aim to support and have a positive impact on students or athletes and that is always my goal, but when you are recognised amongst some really good practitioners across the network it really is rewarding."
