Teddy Bear Hospital Nottingham A fun project for 3-7 year olds! Children bring along a ‘poorly’ Teddy to see the Teddy Doctor, and together they make Teddy better!

Uses play to make young children more familiar with healthcare, so they know they don’t need to be scared if they go and visit the doctor. There are also fun workshops on national curriculum-related health topics, including parts of the body and healthy eating

**COMMITTEE ELECTIONS***

It’s that time of year we need to elect a new TBH Committee…
Do you like teaching, working with children, and having lots of fun?
If you've been to Teddy Bear Hospital training, or been on a visit with us, why not take that interest further and join us on committee?
As part of committee you get valuable paediatric experience for your future medical career and the opportunity to develop your leadership and organisation skills, as well as being part of a friendly and enthusiastic team.

The positions available are:
• Vice President
• General Secretary
• School Liaison Officer (2 positions)
• Events Coordinator
• Activities Coordinator
• Treasurer
• Training Officer
• Publicity Officer

IMPORTANT- we are having issues with people receiving emails..

there is a clinic THIS WEDNESDAY (16th October) meeting at 1:30pm in the Medical School.

If you are a trained TBH member and would like to attend please like this post, and email [email protected] with the following info:

1. Name
2. Phone number
3. If you have attended a clinic before
4. Are you confident in running a station on your own (please do not worry if you aren’t)
5. Would you be able to drive? (i.e. have a car- you are reimbursed for the petrol at 45p/mile)

Hello everyone,

Are you interested in paediatrics? Do you want a head start? Do you like hanging out with children? Then Teddy Bear Hospital is the society for you.

We would like to invite you to attend our annual Training Event on Monday 14 October at 7pm in LT1.

During the session we will give a brief introduction about what we are as a society, then some relevant child protection issues before rounding off the evening with various demonstrations of our Teddy Bear Hospital Stations.

Your attendance will be recorded and you only need to attend once to become a registered Teddy Doctor and from then on, you will be eligible to attend our weekly clinics.
