Merry Christmas to all CSNers!

We've also heard of an internship opportunity from Jack Delaney, of Rebel Yell Films. This isn't an official CSN internship, but if you're interested, more details are below:

Hi there,

We get asked by record labels and brands to submit pitches to their moving content briefs but often don’t have time to do so as we’re working on other projects.

These responses are mostly done in the form of treatments similar to this http://www.slideshare.net/21grams/directors-treatment-presentation with relevant mood board imagery.

What we’re looking for is someone who is bursting with ideas, cine-literate and with strong writing skills to respond to these in a fresh and stand-out way. Our background is a mixture of films (both long and short form) music videos, commercials, web-series, radio plays and corporate work and we’re looking to expand upon these in the new year. Ideally you’ll also be aware of current and emerging trends within music videos and advertising and have some basic understanding of budgeting both above and below the line.

This will be on a completely casual ad hoc basis. In return we can offer 5% of the project budget all-in before costs (typically £2k-£15k) should the work be won and insight into the pitching and procurement process within the production landscape - invaluable information for any fledgling producers or directors. You can also attend any shoots and, if all goes well there’s the possibility of taking over pitched projects to produce and direct them yourself.

If you could email [email protected] with a writing sample, cv and why you’re the best person for this role that would be great.

Thank you for reading!
