The Ingenuity Lab, part of the Haydn Green Institute, is a space where students and alumni of The University of Nottingham can explore ideas and start their own enterprises. If you wish to join The Ingenuity Lab, there are two types of memberships, Standard and Venture; one of which will suit your needs. There are a range of benefits link to one or both of the memberships, including:
• Gain access to the Ingenuity Lab mailing list
• Receive invitations to an array of networking events and business seminars
• Space to work
• Grants and investment support
• Mentoring and placement opportunities
• Sector specialist centres

The memberships are free of charge.

Yesterday we wrapped up Part 2 of Session 5 in our STEPs programme with Prof. Keith Burgess at the Ingenuity Lab 💬

This session gave participants the chance to put their communication skills to the test by pitching their business ideas and receiving real-time feedback from Keith and their peers. A brilliant opportunity to refine their message, build confidence, and learn from one another.

Last week we played the money game with Laura Bond at our Roundtable on "Raising Funds and Capital Strategy", and let’s just say it was as fun as it was eye-opening! 💸

With audiences joining us in-person and online, Laura walked us through real-time examples of how raising funds and building a capital strategy works, showing that it’s not all just about pitching, but about making smart, calculated decisions. 💭
