Meet Alexandra Perry, founder of H.E.R Bodywear and Nottingham Business School graduate 👋

After Alex’s own experience with breast cancer, she saw a gap in the market for lingerie designed for women who had undergone surgery. She said: “I wanted to create something that supported recovery without losing femininity, confidence or identity.”

Introducing H.E.R (Heal. Empower. Revive) Bodywear: beautiful, functional post-surgery bras designed to help women feel like themselves again ⬇️

Since launching H.E.R Bodywear at NTU, Alex has:
• Seen real women benefit from her products
• Won Startup Businesswoman of the Year and a Butterfly Breast Cancer Award for Innovation
• Grown the business through research, healthcare and community collaborations

If you’re an NTU student or graduate thinking of starting a business, Alex’s advice is simple: listen, test your ideas and make the most of the support around you at NTU. You never know where one conversation might lead 🤩
