CEO- Success has given me opportunities I once only dreamed about 😍
but it has also come at a cost!
The biggest cost has been time. Many people assume that when you’re successful you have more freedom, but in reality, the work never really stops.🕰️
There are no fixed hours—it’s 24/7. Even when you’re with your family, friends your mind is often on your business.📁
I’ve also had to become more distant than I ever expected. Not because I don’t care about the people around me, but because I had to protect my focus👁️
Chasing big dreams often means saying no to nights out, missing social events and not seeing friends as much as I’d like. It’s one of the sacrifices that people rarely see behind the scenes. It can get lonely. ❌
There have been times when I’ve experienced burnout and felt mentally and physically exhausted😴
When you’re carrying the responsibility of multiple businesses / business, teams, clients , students and people’s livelihoods, it’s easy to keep pushing yourself without realising how much you’re taking on. Learning when to slow down has been just as important as learning when to work harder.
There’s also the financial responsibility. Before I pay myself, I pay wages, bills, suppliers and taxes. As a business owner, you’re responsible for other people’s livelihoods, and that’s a pressure many people don’t see 💰
Success has also meant taking risks. Some have paid off, others haven’t. I’ve made mistakes, lost money, learned lessons and kept going. Every setback has taught me something that helped me grow 📈
So, what has success cost me? Time, comfort, certainty, relationships and sometimes peace of mind. But it has also given me purpose, freedom, opportunities and the chance to build something I’m proud of !!!!!
Success isn’t just about what you gain—it’s about what you’re willing to sacrifice to become the person capable of achieving it🥇
For me, the journey has been worth it, even though the price has been higher than most people realise 🏆🏆🏆🏆
