💉 “Will I bruise?”

It’s one of the most common questions I’m asked, and the honest answer is: there is always a risk.

As practitioners, we do everything we can to minimise bruising. We use safe techniques, detailed facial anatomy knowledge, careful injection placement, and appropriate products to reduce the chances as much as possible.

However, the face contains a complex network of veins and arteries. Whenever a needle or cannula enters the skin, there is a possibility that a blood vessel may be affected, which can result in bruising.

Some people bruise very little, while others bruise more easily due to factors such as their anatomy, medications, supplements, lifestyle, age, skin type, and even genetics.

Bruising is not usually a sign that something has gone wrong — it’s often just a normal part of the healing process.

Every face is different. Every treatment is different. That’s why no practitioner can ever guarantee that bruising won’t happen.

What I can promise is that your safety always comes first, and I will always do everything possible to minimise the risk while achieving beautiful, natural results. ✨

People often ask me how I manage to keep on top of everything… and the truth is, I make use of every spare moment I can.

When I’m flying, relaxing by the pool, or away from the academy, you’ll often find me with a laptop/ folder full of student work, assessments, and regulated qualification marking. ✈️📚

Being a teacher and assessor isn’t a role that switches off when I leave the classroom. I’m dedicated to ensuring every student receives the support, feedback, and attention they deserve, no matter where I am.

Whilst I’m proud to be the CEO of a growing training academy, I’m not “just a CEO”. I’m still actively involved in teaching, assessing, quality assurance, student support, and helping people build successful careers within the beauty industry.

Success isn’t built on titles – it’s built on consistency, dedication, and genuinely caring about the people you serve.

My students’ success will always be one of my biggest priorities. ❤️
