Welcome to Nottingham Trent Hindu Society. What do they do? How will it help me to fulfil my university experience?’ Well read on to help you answer some of these questions! We are here to provide you with a home away from home. Our main aim is to Protect, Preserve, Practice and Promote Hindu Dharma (religious code) and its core values, to ever
yone not just Hindu's. We are a part of the National Hindu Students Forum UK (NHSF), who provide us a platform to discuss, represent and challenge all aspect of Hinduism. Nottingham Trent Hindu Society are here to teach you are beliefs and culture in a fun way. We will do this by holding weekly Aarti's every week with presentations, discussions and debates regarding Hinduism. We will also be holding events such as Weekly Socials, Sport Events, a Garba Event, Central Zone Garba, Diwali @ Trent and Sewa Day and Week. Sewa is a selfless service, and is one big aspect of Hinduism which we encourage throughout the year. We will also hold our Annual Flagship Event Shyaam!
