It was a pleasure to welcome so many prospective students and their supporters to campus today. 💜

We’re excited to invite you to the Arts4Us Celebration Event at Edge Hill University on Saturday 27 June. We’re celebrating a year of incredible progress in our mission to ensure every child and young person has access to arts initiatives that support their mental wellbeing.

What to expect:

✨ Keynote talks from world-renowned experts in creative health.

✨ Interactive workshops and live performances.

✨ The powerful This is Also Motherhood exhibition by Carolyn Mendelsohn (suitable for ages 14+).

✨ A day curated and moderated by our fantastic Young Arts4Us panel.

A magical morning of music at Edge Hill! 🎶🍪

We recently welcomed local families and school groups to campus for a very special performance of ‘The Musical Story of the Gingerbread Man,’ brought to life by the brilliant musicians of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra!

It was wonderful to see so many young children discovering the joy of live music in such an interactive and engaging way. Thanks to our partnership with Note Weavers CIC and their ‘Sound Beginnings’ project, we were able to host this performance completely free of charge.

Events like these are all about making the arts accessible to everyone. As Heidi Winrow, our Programme Leader for Primary Early Years, shared:

"We know how powerful early experiences of music can be, and being able to offer this free of charge means more children can access something they might not otherwise experience."

Thank you to everyone who came along to make the day so memorable.
