Meet Ellie, a fabulous research assistant. Find out what she does in the Department of Psychology below...

"As a research assistant I am primarily involved in supporting other members of the lab with ongoing projects. Currently, I am helping with the EEG (electroencephalogram) study investigating the effects of prior knowledge on spatial navigation in younger and older adults. I am involved in analysing behavioural data and pre-processing the EEG data so we can investigate the neural mechanisms representing prior knowledge and spatial memory. I also support in the Ageing Better with an Active Mind project, a co-creation between EHU and the University of the Third Age, where we highlight the importance of brain health to older adults through a variety of sessions".
