We conclude the celebration of OxWoCS Women’s International Month with Allison Clement. Alli is finishing her DPhil in Computer Science, where she combines the power of image processing and text analysis to improve diagnosis prediction and the explainability of the resulting diagnoses. To celebrate Women's International Month with OxWoCS, we're highlighting women's groundbreaking contributions to computing. We sat down with Ambre Bertrand, a DPhil student in Computational Cardiovascular Science, who uses computational methods to analyze data for diabetes-induced cardiac disorders. Her work demonstrates the impact of advanced computer science in addressing critical challenges. We hope it ignites curiosity and encourages further exploration. ✨

March is more than just about International Women’s Day. At OxWoCS, we’re celebrating the entire month by recognizing the remarkable achievements of women, especially in computing.
