Could your business inspire the next generation of talent?
This year, Jemima Scott, one of our Professional Business Diploma students, spent a week on work experience with Alpine F1 Team, putting everything she'd learned in the course into practice.
Throughout the week, she worked alongside the Marketing team, learning about digital marketing, partnerships, communications, merchandising, hospitality, and brand design. She even helped organise Paddock Passes for the Silverstone Grand Prix, researched future brand partnerships, and explored ideas for exclusive merchandise collections.
She also attended an inspiring panel discussion on Women in Engineering, hearing from senior leaders about their careers and experiences.
Here's what Jemima had to say about the week:
"My overall experience was great. It was so interesting to learn how all the different marketing departments work and to experience what it's really like to work in an office. I now know how useful the skills we've gained at OMBS really are in the workplace."
This is exactly why work experience is such an important part of the Professional Business Diploma. It gives our students the confidence, experience, and practical skills that help prepare them for successful careers after graduation.
