For its first event of Michaelmas 2019, Oxford Women in Politics (OxWiP) is honoured to be hosting the esteemed Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Dr. Louise Richardson, in an intimate fireside chat. The discussion will be focused around the themes of national security, terrorism and challenges faced by women involved in this field as researchers, policy advisors and practitioners. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Katerina Tkacova who is a postdoctoral fellow affiliated with the Oxford Department of Politics and International Relations and the Changing Character of Conflict Platform.
We believe this event would be a great opportunity for students who identify as women interested in politics, specifically peace and conflict studies, since it is structured in a way to provide for 30-45 minutes of subsequent informal discussion and a Q&A session.
