St John's College Commemoration Ball 2020 Journey to the future on Friday 26th June 2020 at the St. John's Commemoration Ball: Metropolis - where the past meets the future.

Join us as we celebrate the best of the twenties from dusk 'til dawn... On the 26th June 2020, St John’s College will be transformed for an evening of indulgence and luxury, as we come together in a celebration of the best of the twenties. Beginning with a classic champagne reception, amidst bespoke decor and traditional jazz bands, our four quads will fill with splendid dishes, flowing cocktails,

and authentic entertainment. The Roaring Twenties was a time of elegance, excitement, and empowerment - Metropolis will bring these delights into the modern era. But, do not get too comfortable. Whilst the advances of the era brought promises of modernity, 100 years on, the 2020’s entail their own exciting novel prospects. At the stroke of midnight, Metropolis will transform from its celebration of the 1920’s, to an immersive, futuristic morning full of light, colour, and surrealism. Our tantalising cocktails, music, and optical illusions will fully immerse your senses and bring you back to the 2020’s, ready to dance until dawn at our silent disco or enjoy the other visionary entertainment we have in store.
