SMU in Oxford

SMU in Oxford The SMU-in-Oxford program, now in its 33rd year, is a 5-week summer term offered at University College, Oxford.

"Univ," as the college is known, was founded in 1249, and is Oxford's oldest college. The program introduces students to a variety of sites and experiences that make up Great Britain's rich history. Includes:
* Planned trips to London, Stratford-on-Avon, Bath, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and other sites
* There will be receptions and parties, as well as a dinner dance on the Thames River in Lond

on
* Formal Banquets in the College Dining Hall
*A performance of The Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford-upon-Avon
* Lectures and symposia with invited guests
*Faculty and program assistants from SMU and University College, Oxford

Weekends are free to travel wherever you wish! Think Paris, Scotland, Ireland, Amsterdam, Spain...

He had been spending the Christmas holidays as usual in Switzerland, where he was taken ill, and his condition worsened on his return to England.
