We're passing on a message and photo from John Maguire today:

Hi to all current and Old Members of Queen's.

I'm John the Porter of 15 years now. Missing you all.

Together we can get through this.... Take care, stay safe.

Our page has been in hibernation for quite some time but since it's now definitely spring in Oxford, it feels like a good time to start building our online community again - particularly as we all need to practise our social distancing right now. The main College site is closed until further notice, but please do feel free to get in touch with us online! We hope you're all keeping safe and well, wherever you are around the world.

In light of the developing situation regarding the Coronavirus,
we have cancelled our upcoming events, including Berlin, Washington DC and New York. (Old Members affected have already been contacted)

We hope to be able to offer our summer programme including our Benefactors' Dinner and the Old Members' Garden Party but a decision will be made at a later date. The Garden Party plans to bring to a close the year-long commemorations of the 40th anniversary of co-education.

The City of London Reception had already been scheduled to move to later in the year (autumn) so any pausing of current events will hopefully not affect the planning of this or our other events.

We will keep you up-to-date on these developments on our event listing website: www.queens.ox.ac.uk/OMevents

The Old Members' Office is currently working from home but are still contactable via email: [email protected]
