Scholarship & Christianity in Oxford (SCIO) Receives $1 Million Donation

Last week, SCIO and the CCCU were blessed with an incredible windfall. The Green family with particular connections to Steve and Jackie Green, have offered to donate $1 million, enabling SCIO to pay off the mortgage on the Vines, the residence hall for students in Oxford. Steve and Jackie Green family have been wonderful partners for years, funding the Logos program and supporting SCIO’s work as the CCCU’s U.K. subsidiary, advancing faith and learning in service of CCCU member institutions’ students, faculty, and administrators.
At the same time, the SCIO team is in the process of moving into their new office space in the city center, which will provide a new administrative home for the work in Oxford. The CCCU and SCIO are so grateful for God’s provision and excited by new opportunities to continue serving your institutions in the Kingdom work of Christ-centered education.
