Today, the University has announced a series of measures designed to ensure that by 2023, 25% of undergrads here at Oxford are from under-represented groups!
Plans include a foundation year, lower grade offers and other schemes directly targeting those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
This is brilliant news, and whole-heartedly supported by all at St Anne's!

Yesterday, St Anne's launched the Aim for Oxford Programme at St James' Park in Newcastle. Working together with Christ Church, this is a long-term project with the aim of widening participation that will help students in Year 12 and 13 apply to Oxford.
40 students in the North-East (our link area) will benefit from being on this scheme!

Today we are launching the Aim for Oxford Programme at St James' Park in Newcastle. St Anne’s will be working in partnership with Christ Church on this programme which will support a specific cohort of young people in a sustained manner over several years. Find out more https://bit.ly/2GZ2Fqv
