He will be in conversation with Dr Stefan Skrimshire (Theology and Religious Studies, University of Leeds), discussing the book’s exploration of theology’s relationship with science, nature, and the environment.

She will have a temporary home in Helwys Hall before we purchase a new grand this summer, and move this baby to live in The Chapel!

Huge congratulations to Dr Katrin Wilhelm, Regent's Tutorial Fellow in Geography, who was recently awarded a Certificate of Recognition for her brilliant work on the Lab-In-Your-Pocket project and her contributions to supporting young people's mental health 👏

Dr Wilhelm has helped pioneer new ways of using mobile technologies to engage young people with heritage, public space and the environment - enabling participants to explore, investigate and co-create knowledge through digital tools. Her work continues to make a meaningful impact both within and beyond the University community. This is truly well-deserved recognition!

We’re delighted to congratulate Dr Tim Middleton, Tutorial Fellow in Theology at Regent’s, who is part of the team behind The Elisha Project, a new national initiative that has recently been awarded funding through the ECLAS programme at Durham University.

Running from January 2027 to January 2028, the project will help resource and empower a new generation of environmental theology educators across the UK through conferences, mentoring, webinars, and collaborative learning.

What happens when we bring nature into one of the most controlled spaces in healthcare?

Dr Katrin Wilhelm, Tutorial Fellow in Geography, recently led on a project to find out. This study highlights the profound impact nature can have in secure mental health settings for young people. From bees and flowers to therapeutic gardening, the project asks how healthcare spaces might better support both ecological and human flourishing.
