The Ontario Health Coalition encourages you to attend their Stop Ford’s Hospital Privatization Train Wreck rally, which takes place at noon in Toronto, ON on May 28th, 2026. The rally will begin at Union Station and proceed to Queen's Park for a further large protest.

The Peterborough and District Labour Council will be hosting their annual Day of Mourning service on Tuesday, April 28th, at 10:45 am. Location: adjacent to the flagpole on the front lawn at City Hall, 500 George St N.

The service will shine a light on psychological health and safety in our workplaces. As per the council, the ceremony will include the City’s proclamation recognizing April 28 as the National Day of Mourning and Ken Walsh, Training Services Representative for the Workers Health & Safety Centre, will be the guest speaker. There will also be a lunch at the Black Horse Pub (452 George St N) following the service.
