Wish you could escape university work and venture into the wilderness? That’s exactly what students from CUAS did last summer.

A number of students embarked on a canoeing expedition in Sweden, where they learnt to catch and cook fish over the campfire. Highlights of the trip were seeing the northern lights and amazing sunsets.

Do you want to develop your leadership skills? CUAS gives you the opportunity to.

In the Easter holidays, members of CUAS participated in PDLT (Personal Development & Leadership Training), a camp where they practised basic military skills such as fieldcraft and marching.

Students had the chance to lead missions and command their fellow students in mock scenarios.

Earlier this year, CUAS students joined four other squadrons skiing in the Alps, earning their Ski Foundation 1 & 2 qualifications.
