WPHN is a group of medical students and Volunteers from all walks of life, that have a common goal to help under-represented groups achieve higher education in healthcare. We aim to guide widening participation students through their time at University and allow individuals from non-traditional and under-privileged backgrounds achieve their dreams. The volunteers at WPHN appreciate how difficult it is to be heard as an under-represented student, so we become their voice and aim to make higher education accessible and appropriate for everyone. We’d like to break the stigma for current non-traditional students on healthcare courses and help them become them feel belonging at university.
