We are really sorry to say that our charity event this weekend is having to be cancelled. We haven’t had a great turn out to run what we had planned, thank you to those who purchased tickets, these will be refunded to you soon!!
We also hope everyone has a lovely Easter, we will have updates with some socials and keep your eyes out for our AGM details for applying for the committee for next year!! Anddddd…. Our EdSoc summer ball!!!!!!!😁

As you may have seen on our instagram page we’re holding a meeting today regarding volunteering in local schools - this will be @1:30pm in the SU.
I will be recording minutes, so if you cant come along comment / send a message and we can share then with you.

EdSoc’s first competitive match ended in a convincing 4-1 victory against Law, continuing our impressive run of form.

The first half was dominated by the boys in blue, but there was little to show for it until Seb Frost’s tight-angled drive fired past the opposition’s stand-in keeper, adding to his four goals so far this season. At the other end, Charlie Richards impressed with some strong saves.

EdSoc killed the game early in the second half, as Paul Alao’s long range effort was fumbled into the net. Alao then formed a potent partnership with Bence Marsi to assist him twice for two close-range finishes. With the result secured and the pressure off, the Blues conceded two controversial late penalties, one for a push and the other for a trip. The same player stepped up for both, putting the first into the net, and the second wide of the post.

Final Score: EdSoc 4-1 Law
