The Eldon foyer was full of conversations, connections and opportunities today at the Portsmouth Employers Event 👀

Students had the chance to meet practices, ask questions and gain insight into the architecture industry directly from employers.

This week we’re shining a light on Robin Lind, Year 3 BA Architecture student and winner of the Graduate Show 2026 poster design competition.

Robin’s concept uses motion blur photography to represent the different elements of the faculty and the student journey — capturing movement, process, and transformation.

With a full day of shooting and support from David Clark, Billie Cawte, Dan McCabe, Mike Harkins, alongside our 3D Workshop and Sewing Studio teams, Robin developed and brought the final posters to life.

A brilliant example of creativity, collaboration and making in action 👏

The studios are a little quieter than usual… we’re already missing the students.

The University is closed for the bank holiday (Good Friday & Easter Monday), but the Library remains open 📚
