Designed for professionals working across the news media industry worldwide, the programme supports innovators eager to lead and leaders eager to innovate. Through expert mentorship, collaboration and Applied Learning Projects, participants develop the skills to drive innovation and lead sustainable change in their organisations.

BA (Hons) Journalism University of Lancashire Alumni Freya is now working as a South Coast Multimedia Reporter at Bauer Media Group (Greatest Hits Radio/Hits Radio) producing radio bulletins, digital content and written articles 🎙️

After securing a placement with Bauer Media Group through cJAM, Freya gained experience across the Norwich and Manchester newsrooms, joined the Bauer Mentorship Programme and began freelancing as a news bulletin editor. These opportunities eventually led to Freya securing a full-time position at Bauer Media Group 👏

Since joining Bauer Media Group, she’s interviewed high-profile politicians including the Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Sir Ed Davey Leader of the Liberal Democrats, she’s also reported on major court cases and covered military events across the UK 💬

“Getting this job was largely due to the course, the opportunities given and our incredible lecturers”, she said.

BA (Hons) Fine Art University of Lancashire Alumni Gavin is currently creating a mural on a student apartment block as a nod to the former biscuit factory that once stood on the site 🍪

City artist Gavin Renshaw has been in action again - this time in Sizer Street as he gives a nod to the Powell's Biscuits factory that once stood on the site.

The student accommodation block, which is now nearing completion after financial collapse, has a very colourful wall. 👏👨‍🎨

Congratulations Kate Pankhurst we’re proud of you 🌹

On , we’re shining a spotlight on Simon Stacpoole, whose BA (Hons) Photography degree helped launch an impressive career capturing some of the world’s biggest sporting moments.

From photographing Usain Bolt’s iconic 100m Olympic victory to covering five FIFA World Cups, Simon has built a career photographing sport at the highest level.

And 2026 has been another incredible year for Simon, who recently returned from Glasgow after covering the Commonwealth Games, having previously travelled to the USA to photograph his fifth FIFA World Cup. ⚽💪

Simon continues to work as a freelance photographer for clients around the world, with his work spanning football, portraits and PR events.
