Congratulations to BA (Hons) Fashion Design student Naomi Robinson who has been chosen as one of 13 shortlisted candidates for the x Graduate Fashion Week Circularity Masterclass 👏

This programme empowers students across the UK and Europe to rethink fashion through a circular lens. As a participating university of the Circularity Masterclass, our students explored circular design principles across five lessons, developing three designs that considered materials, dyes, finishes and end-of-life processes.

Naomi has focused on the bridal industry for her entry, developing a sustainable model for rented bridal wear and a collection with adjustable fit garments to reduce waste. 👰‍♀️

Naomi will present her work this June at Graduate Fashion Week 2026 in London, where one overall winner will be chosen by a panel of industry judges.

Fuzzy Memories 💭

The current exhibition in our Hanover Building is Fuzzy Memories, an exhibition of artwork made by artists from Rogue Artists' Studios selected and curated by Fine Art alumni and now Fine Art technician at the university, Florian Houlker 🙌

The exhibition invites artists to reflect on memory as an unstable, emotional space that is blurred, fragmented and often contradictory. The word fuzzy suggests softness and warmth, but also distortion, gaps and uncertainty. Memories can feel safe yet unreliable, comforting yet fractured. This exhibition explores how personal history, lived experience and artistic practice resurface through nostalgia and recall 🧠
