After a tense day of rallying at the Legend Fires North West Stages , our Club President Danny Cowell came second in class! With an overall finish of 90/102 other cars that managed to make it to the end, Danny has shown great patience and courage to get his Samba across the muddy and slippy stages to the finish.

We hope to see more rally action from more Myerscough College Motor Club members in the future and competitions in private events! Credit to Flat Shift Media for the picture.

As we approach the Legend Fires North West Stages, we cannot wait to see Myerscough College & University Centre lecturer and Myerscough College Motor Club member Danny Cowell drive his Samba along the bumpy and twisting roads of Lancashire!

Congratulations to local driver Rob Cotton who dominated Sunday's Myerscough College Motor Club AutoSOLO here on campus.

The event was organised and delivered by Myerscough College Motorsport students and was the first such event since COVID. Thanks to Garstang and Preston Motor Club who provided support on the day with marshalling and scrutineering.

After a disappointing turnout for the AGM last week which meant we were unable to hold the meeting we will try again this week. Information on the poster below.

I would like to make it clear to everyone that we need people to attend the meeting to be able to move forward with the running of the motor club this year, if people don't help with the running of the club then the club can't run events going forward!

06/10/2021

After a successful social event last week, a big thank you to those who turned up, we are now up to a total of 15 paid up members with at least another 5 who have showed interest.

We are now ready to hold the Annual General Meeting and vote on positions for this coming year. Next week either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday starting at 5:30 Location TBC. Please let Ethan Harris know your preference for which day asap.
