🏢 Workplace Wednesday: Learning beyond the classroom!

Did you know that T Level students complete an industry placement of at least 315 hours? 💼

This , we're celebrating the fantastic employers who help our students put their skills into practice!

👏 Organisations including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, SP1 IT Solutions, Kyocera Document Solutions and Surelock McGill have supported our students with valuable industry placements.
We've also worked with SSE, giving students opportunities to develop their skills and experience the world of work.

These placements help students:

🚀 Trailblazers Tuesday: Where could a T Level take you?

It's day two of , and we're celebrating students who are taking exciting next steps after college! 🎉

💼 Jess Lambden and Jarod Smith studied Business Management and Administration at Bracknell & Wokingham College. After achieving Distinctions and completing placements with John Lewis Partnership, both secured full-time jobs with the company!

🎓 Chloe Rawlins achieved a Distinction in Education and Early Years at Banbury and Bicester College before securing a place at Oxford Brookes University to study Primary Teacher Education.

👏 Tiegen Jenkins achieved a Merit and planned to progress to university to study Children's Nursing.

Whether your goal is university, an apprenticeship or employment, T Levels can help you get there!

We're kicking off by celebrating the fantastic achievements of our students across Activate Learning! 👏

🌟 Banbury and Bicester College: 100% pass rates in Management and Administration and Education and Early Years.

🌟 Bracknell & Wokingham College: 100% pass rates in Health (Adult Nursing) and Business: Management and Administration.

🌟 Guildford College: 100% pass rates across all four T Level programmes!

🌟 City of Oxford College: 100% pass rates across all three T Level programmes!

🌟 Reading College: 100% pass rates across all four T Level programmes!

Even better, all our T Level results outperformed the previous year's national averages! 🏆

We're incredibly proud of our students and staff for these achievements.

T Levels combine classroom learning with real industry experience, helping young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

💚 This World Mental Health Day, every voice matters.

The theme for World Mental Health Day 2026 is ‘Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change’, highlighting the importance of listening to people’s experiences of mental health and ensuring their voices help shape the support available to them.

At Activate Learning, we want every student to feel heard, supported and able to access help when they need it.

Sometimes, one of the most important things we can do is simply make space for a conversation. Whether you’re sharing how you feel, checking in with someone else or taking the time to really listen, those conversations can make a difference.

Across our colleges, students can access a range of mental health and wellbeing support, including our Wellbeing Advisers, counselling, Student Support and Safeguarding teams.

💚 Today, we’re encouraging students to wear green to show their support for World Mental Health Day and get involved with wellbeing activities taking place on campus throughout the month.

This year’s Black History Month theme, Honouring Our Communities, gives us an opportunity to recognise the people whose contributions strengthen the places where we live, learn and work.

Communities are shaped by people: the leaders, educators, creatives, families, colleagues, neighbours and role models who make a difference every day.

Throughout October, we’ll be celebrating those contributions and encouraging our students and colleagues to learn more about Black history, culture and experiences.
