Working with Maggs has been a rewarding experience for our students, where they can gain valuable experience and grow in confidence supporting their local community.

Congratulations on being a Skills Ambassador Maggs, we look forward to another year of working with you! 👏

🎉 We're delighted that our partnership with Heart of Worcestershire College has been recognised!

For several years, we've been proud to welcome students from the College into Maggs, where they've become an important part of our weekly community lunches at Worcester Day Centre.

By volunteering alongside our team, students gain confidence, practical skills and valuable experience, while helping create a warm, welcoming environment for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

It's a partnership that benefits everyone involved, and we're incredibly grateful to Heart of Worcestershire College for recognising the contribution our staff and volunteers make in supporting learners.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this partnership such a success, we're excited to continue working together and creating more opportunities in the future. 💚

Last week we celebrated our Worcester and Malvern students at our second first FE Award ceremony of 2026! 🤩

The evening recognised the determination, hard work and resilience of our students and it was lovely to celebrate so much success. Thank you to everyone who came and congratulations to all our students.

We have another stunning piece of furniture made from our students with HoW Chic!

For only £50, you can upgrade your bedroom or spare room with brown drawers surrounded by a green outer shell and gold handles. HoW Chic is that?

HoW Chic is a project with The Base, where our SEN students learn life skills through upcycling furniture, giving each piece a new life and a story to share, with yours being the next chapter.

Our Computing and Games Design students competed at Bowling, with thanks to Tenpin where they teamed up and made connections with different groups, stepped out of their comfort zones to work together and win. 🎳

This trip was a great way to develop their 'Life Ready' skills as part of Thrive and building their company behaviours, collaboration and communication to compete for the top scoring bowlers.

Well done to Raheem and Ethan who jointly won as the best bowlers of the day! 🏆

Our Sports learners recently enjoyed an exciting introduction to 'Padel' during a visit to Padel + Play in St Johns, Worcester. The session provided an opportunity to experience one of the world's fastest-growing sports, developing key skills such as communication, teamwork, agility and tactical awareness in a fun and engaging environment.
The students embraced the challenge, quickly picking up the rules and techniques of the game while demonstrating excellent enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the session.
It did get quite competitive very quickly!

A huge thank you to the team at Padel + Play for hosting us and delivering an enjoyable introduction to the sport. We look forward to returning in the future! 🎾
