🌟 Celebrating Achievement at Evolve 🌟

As we start looking forward to welcoming our new students, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our students over the past year.

In Art, Maths and English, our students have worked hard, developed their knowledge and skills, and achieved some brilliant outcomes as part of their qualifications.

Students have also flourished in their core aims of either a bespoke Work Experience or Horticulture qualification, developing practical skills, confidence, independence and valuable industry experience to support their future pathways.

These qualification sessions are an important part of life at Evolve, alongside the wide range of enrichment opportunities our students enjoy and grow through throughout the year.

👏 We’re incredibly proud of the commitment, progress and achievements of our students, from gaining qualifications and developing new skills to taking important steps towards greater independence.

As one year comes to an end and another begins, we can’t wait to see what our new and returning students will achieve at Evolve.

GCSE Results Day is here!

To all our students: be proud of how far you’ve come, the effort you’ve put in and everything you’ve achieved along the way.

Overall Qualification Grades will be available for Evolve students via email to their student email account from 8:30am on Thursday 20 August for the following qualifications:

WJEC GCSE Maths
WJEC GCSE English Language

🎉 Today we are celebrating the Ripon Workhouse Museum reopening after an inspiring refurbishment project.

Evolve is proud to be part of this moment. Our students have created Weaving a Yarn, an exhibition shaped by their visit to the Workhouse and their responses to its stories, spaces and social history. Through poetry, textile silhouettes, lace printing and collaborative weaving, they explored themes of monotony, endurance, resilience and the often‑unheard voices of former residents. The final collaborative weaving is now an interactive piece that visitors can add to, connecting past and present through shared making.

This collaboration was made possible through the museum’s Inspiration for a Fairer Future project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other funders.

We can't believe it's been a week since we came together for our annual Awards meals to celebrate the achievements of our students!

The afternoon was filled with recognition, laughter and proud moments. We started by presenting our fun personal awards before moving on to subject awards and special awards, recognising the hard work, progress and contributions of students throughout the year.

A huge thank you to the team at Valentino's Ristorante for their excellent service and hospitality, helping to make the afternoon such a special occasion.
Congratulations to all of our award winners, and well done to every student for everything they achieved this year! 🎉🏆✨

What a week! Our annual Sports Days were full of laughter, teamwork and brilliantly silly challenges as students competed to earn house points and tokens. 🏆

Everyone got stuck in and showed amazing spirit. The highlight? Spending those hard earned tokens on the ultimate prize… wet sponge a teacher! Safe to say, staff got just as involved as the students by the end.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and made it such a fun, unforgettable event, and a big thank you to Ripon City AFC for kindly hosting us!

A lovely day filled with creativity, teamwork and a touch of elegance at our Afternoon Tea event!🫖

Students took part in a range of sessions to prepare, including tea tasting, making decorations and learning the art of napkin folding. They also got hands on in practical sessions to help prepare the delicious food.

All their hard work paid off as we came together in the afternoon to enjoy a fantastic outdoor afternoon tea in the sunshine. A wonderful way to celebrate everyone’s effort and spend time together!
