A busy session making this sleeveless top, this is the 2nd top this student has made with me, with this pattern, fabric is a lovely drapey viscose fabric.
This student also bought her lovely vintage Sewing machine…had it serviced by my Sewing Mechanic Steve who is absolutely brilliant and loves an old sewing machine

After taking some time off in January visiting friends in Ibiza 🇪🇸 and then very lucky to go to a Yoga retreat in Bali 🇮🇩 giving myself some self care.. 🧘🏼‍♀️
now back into Sewing classes, and this Student is already an experienced Quilter, but wanted to get into dressmaking..a Jersey fabric chosen, so will be tricky to begin with, after the Student has been used to cotton/woven fabrics..but have every confidence in this student 🧑‍🎓 😊💕

Ok, so I’m coming clean today, I double booked 🙈 i’m only human…
A wedding dress fitting and a Sewing lesson at the same time.…whoops!!! 🙈🙈 luckily both parties were very accommodating and I’ve been able to rebook the student on her Sewing lesson for another day, but my it has really thrown me…so not like me…it’s never happened before…
