Red Tape Central, Sheffield: the story so far

Red Tape Studios opened in 1986 in the heart of the Cultural Industries Quarter with a mission to equip our city with the skill and capacity to excel in the music industry.

The centre has evolved into a top-class training facility, housing industry standard audio, music and ICT facilities We provide a wide range of courses in subjects such as music, music tech, maths, English, functional skills, childcare, ICT and business administration, all run by Sheffield’s top experts.

We also provide spaces for local activities, and professional recording studios staffed by industry professional sound engineers.
